The South Carolina Production Fund was created in 2006 to instill collaboration between filmmakers and the film programs at Clemson, the University of South Carolina, and Trident Technical College. These films reflect the first completed projects and area a showcase of the State’s film production programs and the next generation of creative professionals. Presented by the South Carolina Film Commission and the Charleston County Library. JUNE 3 SHOWING FROM 5:30-7:45PM INCLUDES 2 SHORT FILMS INCLUDING: APPALACHAIN DREAMS—(5min) An old clog dancer retires for the night, but his shoes are just getting started. Based on the traditional arts and crafts of southern Appalachia, Appalachian Dreams celebrates the high energy of clog dancing along with carved wooden toys, corn husk dolls, ceramic jugs and weaved baskets joining in on the fun.
